My art work explores how ideas are generated, dispersed, referenced or forgotten. I use paper to construct installations and sculptures; I transform books and their pages into new forms to consider the recursive nature of ideas. Because I look at gain and loss, remembrance and lapses, permanence and impermanence, images of trees, plants and other organisms that have visible regeneration cycles inspire my art. See my artist statement for more details.
