Biography
Holly A. Senn is known for her sculptures and installations created from discarded library books. She received a M.L.I.S. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. from Mills College.
Recent installations include “Scavenged” at Kittredge Gallery in Tacoma, “Inhabit” at Gallery @ the Jupiter in Portland; “Link” at Tollefson Plaza in Tacoma; and “Cover” at Doppler PDX in Portland. Awards include the Artist Trust Grant for Artists Projects and the Tacoma Arts Commission’s Tacoma Artists Initiative Program grant.
Since 2001 Senn has lived and worked in Tacoma, Washington. In addition to working as an artist, she is a librarian at Pacific Lutheran University. She has worked in corporate and academic libraries since 1992.
